The Sportsplex was built when Lethbridge held the 1975 Canada Winter Games. Today the building, which holds 7,100 people, is used for many of the city's major events, from three-ring circuses to major concerts. It is also home to WHL team The Lethbridge Hurricanes. Other amenities include a running-track, squash courts, indoor climbing wall and an outdoor sports field that can accommodate up to 2,000 spectators. Major performers that have graced the stage at the Enmax Centre include The Tragically Hip, The Beach Boys, The Guess Who, Tom Cochrane, Tanya Tucker, The Bee Gees and tons more.
Exhibition Park, a part of Lethbridge since 1867, is an organization promoting agriculture, tourism, trade, education and recreational events. The grounds play host to many of the city's major events, such as Whoop Days, Farmer's Market, Home and Garden Show, and Ag Expo. The Exhibition also hosts many private shows throughout the year.
