Once Lethbridge's primary hospital, the Galt Museum is now Lethbridge's museum Visitors will find interesting displays of early settler life in the region as well as historical artifacts. Always dynamic, the museum features changing exhibits. The museum is named after the Canadian High Commissioner in London who, in 1882, financed a mining operation that led to the founding of Lethbridge. A gift shop is on site. The Archives department can be contacted for research. Daily 10 am - 5 pm. Admission free for the general museum, prices vary for exhibits.
